Waterford Viking Marathon

The Vikings are coming, run for your lives!!! The official Waterford Viking Marathon is the biggest and best running event in the South East of Ireland. This annual event in June includes a Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Quarter Marathon option. The marathon caters for all levels from beginners to professional. The Waterford Viking Marathon is not just a running event but a fun day’s activity for all the family with entertainment provided along route from live music bands to DJ’s as well as a party atmosphere at our finish line festival in the Regional Sports Centre on the Cork Road. 

It is an event not to be missed! Even if you are not participating in the marathon come along and cheer on the runners and enjoy the positive atmosphere around the scenic city route .
