Shielbaggan Outdoor Education Centre

Shielbaggan Outdoor Education Centre, located at the top of the Hook Peninsula in the South West Wexford village of Ramsgrange, it’s surrounded by stunning scenery. The centre enables you to try your hand at kayaking (white water, sea and flat water), canoeing (white water and flat water, coasteering, surfing, hillwalking, rock-climbing, abseiling, archery, orienteering, and team challenges. Ideal for children’s groups, families or groups of adults. Sheilbaggan OEC also offers a number of summer camps which generally take place in July and August and is for young people between the age of 8 and 16. Summer camps take place for five days from Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. Your child can attend for one day or all five. Over the five days the young people will get the opportunity to try all the activities that we offer at Sheilbaggan.

The programmes are weather dependant meaning that the activities change depending on the weather conditions. Our qualified staff will provide all the supervision and instruction required so you can relax safe in the knowledge that you children are having an exciting and enjoyable day and will be making new friends or and learning skill.
